Virtual Branch

There is another way to access your money without coming into the credit union—Virtual Branch online banking. You can access your accounts through a secure website to verify deposits or check clearings, transfer funds between your accounts (also other accounts with the same joint owners), receive your statements electronically, pay your bills, even apply for a loan or sign up for our mobile app! Best of all, we provide this service at no cost to our members.

Bill Wizard

Your time is precious to you–try our bill payment service to help you save more time! With Bill Wizard, you can cut down the amount of time it takes to pay your bills, and save the postage as well. Bill Wizard is just one piece of our Virtual Branch service, provided to our members at no cost. You can also receive e-bills, transfer money to or from other financial institutions, send or receive funds using PopMoney, download your records to your personal financial software, and schedule reminders.  Questions about your Bill Wizard service can be answered from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. (Eastern time zone), 7 days a week, by calling 1-833-572-9892.


Receive your statement electronically on the first of every month when you register for e-Statements on Virtual Branch. Six months of statements are archived for you, and there is a link to a printable view if you would like to print or save your statements.

AAFCU mobile app

Now all the services available to you with Virtual Branch are also available to you using your smart phone! Register for the mobile app on Virtual Branch (choose Mobile on the top menu), then download and install the free app, Armstrong Associates FCU, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Our code is AAFederalCU. You may also choose text alerts through your mobile app.

Shared Branches

AAFCU is a member of a credit union Shared Branching network, called CO-OP Shared Branch.  There are more than 5,000 participating branches across the U.S. and in several foreign countries.  You can use any of these credit union shared branches the same as if you were in one of our lobbies, at no cost.  You’ll need your valid photo identification, and will need to know your account number here at AAFCU.  Basic services such as deposits, withdrawals and check cashing are available.  There is a locator available at 


Payroll Deduction

With Payroll Deduction, our members can choose to have a portion of their paycheck deposited to their savings account. (Requires employer participation)

Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit allows our members to have their entire paycheck directly deposited to their savings or checking account. (Requires employer participation)

Check Access for Lines of Credit

With Check Access for our Lines of Credit, our members can borrow only as much as they need, when they need it.

Automatic Loan Payment Transfers

Our Automatic Loan Payment Transfers are a convenient way for our members to ensure their monthly loan payment is paid. Transfers can be set up to transfer every month, or when paid.

Secure Night Deposit Box

Ford City and West Hills offices feature a secure Night Deposit Box. Deposits are logged first thing in the morning with two employees to ensure safety and security for our members.

Discretionary Overdraft Privilege

Members in good standing with Armstrong Associates Federal Credit Union may be eligible for Overdraft Privilege on their Share Draft Checking Account. If an eligible member should inadvertently overdraw their share draft checking account, AAFCU has the discretion to cover the overdraft, saving embarrassment and additional fees charged by the merchant. There is no charge for this service unless it is used to cover an overdraft. Members may choose to opt-in to having ATM and everyday debit card transactions also covered by the Overdraft Privilege program.  Members may also opt out of this service entirely if they wish by contacting AAFCU.
